HELP WITH AN ORDER

Q: How can I place an order?

A: Register as a member at https://ecbento.com. After selecting your favourite Bento meal and processing payment, you will receive a confirmation code by SMS. All you then have to do is pick up your Bento box from the Bento Vending Machine at the time and location you have selected during payment processing, using the confirmation code that was texted to you.

Q: Can I buy Bento from the Bento Vending Machine directly?

A: No. You must first purchase the Bento and complete the order at https://ecbento.com.

Q: Can I buy more than one Bento in one order?

A: Yes

Q: Can I amend the order after the confirmation?

A: Yes, you can amend the order once, but only within the 15 minutes after confirming your purchase.

Q: Can I cancel my order after confirmation?

A: Yes, you can cancel your order, but only within the 15 minutes after confirming your purchase. You will not be able to amend or refund your purchase after those 15 minutes.

Q: Can I use one confirmation code to pick up multiple Bento meals?

A: Yes, you should be able to pick up more than one Bento using the same confirmation code. You should only have to input the code texted to you once, using the same Bento Vending Machine, and your selected Bentos will be automatically delivered to you.

Q: Can I amend the pick-up time?

A: You are only allowed to defer the pickup time twice, and for not more than 15 minutes at a time. You can view your order list from your order history, and in the remark column, make a note regarding your deferral.

Q: Can I pick up the Bento after the selected pick up time?

A: You can pick up your Bento in 30 minutes after your selected pickup time. You will receive an SMS reminding you to pick up your Bento from the vending machine. After these 30 minutes, your order will be automatically cancelled, and you will not be able to pick up your order. Unfortunately, no refund can be allowed for an order cancelled in this manner.

Q: Will EC BENTO provide any tableware?

A: Yes, single-use cutlery will be available next to the Bento Vending Machine.

PAYMENT

Q: Payment method?

A: We accept Alipay, Wechat Pay, Paypal, Visa, Mastercard. No cash payment will be accepted.

Q: How can I apply the coupon?

A: After adding your selected Bento to your shopping cart, simply apply the coupon at check out to enjoy the promotion.

Q: I forgot to apply coupon! What should I do?

A: You can use the coupon during your next purchase. However, please be aware of the expiration date of each coupon.

Q: If I have had to cancel my order, will be coupon also be refunded?

A: Yes. All used ecPoints and coupon in a cancelled order will also be refunded to a member’s account. Please check your account again 24 hours after cancellation to see the update.

Q: Refund Method?

A: Once an order has been successfully refunded, the spent amount will be refunded to your account within 2 weeks.

ecBuddy REFERRAL AND ecBuddy BONUS POINT SCHEME

Q: Is there a maximum number of buddies I can refer for the ecBuddy scheme?

A: There is no maximum number of referrals you can make. The more ecBuddies you refer, the more ecPoints you’ll be able to gain.

Q: How to gain the ecPoint?

Q:

  • Every HKD$1 spent=1 ecPoint
  • Referring a friend as an ecBuddy; after their first purchase, you receive 100 ecPoints
  • Every time your ecBuddy spends, you are rewarded with 10% of the ecPoints they earn

Q: How can I spend the my ecPonts?

A: Every 1000 ecPoints collected will be automatically converted into a $60 cash coupon, which can be used in your next purchase.

Q: How long do the ecPoints stay valid for?

A: The term of validity for your ecPoints is 12 months, starting at the time that the user registered as a member of EC BENTO. This record will be reset every year.

Q: Why I can’t see ecPoints in my account real-time, following my transaction?

A: Unfortunately, the ecPoints you gain are not processed in real-time. But rest assured, they will be sent and viewable from the user’s account within 24 hours after the transaction.

Q: How can I view rewarded coupons?

A: Click the button stating your name to enter your information page. From there, you will be able to view all of your coupons, listed in the “Coupon” column.
